1. Who we are
The Wellness Hub by JTU ("the app") is operated by JTU VENTURES LTD, a company registered in England and Wales, company number 17142431, registered office 20 Arnold Court, Northwich, CW8 4UB, United Kingdom. You can contact us at any time at hello@jtuventures.co.uk.
These Terms of Use, together with our Privacy Policy, Health & Wellbeing Disclaimer and Cookies & Storage Notice, form the agreement between you and us. By creating an account you confirm that you accept them.
2. Eligibility
You must be 18 years of age or older to create an account. The app is designed for adults and we do not knowingly collect information from children. If we learn that an account belongs to someone under 18 we will close it and delete the associated data.
3. Your account
- You are responsible for keeping your password secure and for all activity that happens under your account.
- Provide accurate information when you sign up, and keep it up to date.
- Do not share your account with anyone else or let anyone else use it.
- Tell us straight away at hello@jtuventures.co.uk if you believe someone has accessed your account without permission.
4. Acceptable use
When using the app you agree not to:
- Post anything unlawful, abusive, harassing, hateful, defamatory, sexually explicit or deliberately distressing.
- Identify yourself or anyone else in the Sharing Circles by real name, address, workplace, school, phone number or any other identifying detail.
- Give medical, clinical, legal or financial advice to other members, or present yourself as qualified to do so unless you genuinely are and say so clearly.
- Promote, sell or advertise products, services, treatments or other communities.
- Attempt to access another person's account, data or content, or to probe, scan or interfere with the app's security.
- Scrape, copy, republish or redistribute other members' content anywhere outside the app.
- Upload files containing malware, or images or recordings of other people without their consent.
5. Sharing Circles
Sharing Circles are peer support spaces. Every post and reply is shown under an anonymous handle, never your real name or email address. They are moderated but they are not staffed by clinicians and posts are not reviewed before they appear.
- Content that is reported three times is hidden automatically pending review.
- We may remove any content, hide any post, or suspend or close any account that breaks these terms, without notice where the safety of members is at risk.
- You keep ownership of what you write. By posting, you grant us a licence to store, display and moderate that content within the app for as long as your account exists.
- Do not treat anything posted by another member as professional advice.
6. Events and challenges
- Events and challenges are currently offered free of charge. Booking a place is a commitment to attend or to let us know if you cannot.
- Places are limited and allocated in the order bookings are received.
- Challenges are self-reported. Do not falsify evidence, and understand that leaderboards are for encouragement rather than competition prizes unless we say otherwise.
- Before taking part in any physical challenge you must consider your own health and, where relevant, take advice from a qualified medical professional. See the Health & Wellbeing Disclaimer.
- We may change, postpone or cancel an event or challenge. Where we do, we will tell participants as soon as we reasonably can.
7. Third-party content
The app links to and embeds videos hosted by third parties such as YouTube. We do not own, control or endorse that content and it is subject to the provider's own terms and privacy policy. Availability can change without notice.
8. Our content and brand
The app, its design, logo, written guidance, habit programmes and code belong to us or our licensors. You may use them personally within the app, but you may not copy, adapt, resell or redistribute them.
9. Availability
We work hard to keep the app available and accurate, but we provide it on an 'as is' basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access, and we may add, change or withdraw features as the app develops.
10. Our liability
Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited.
Subject to that, we are not liable for any loss arising from your reliance on content in the app, from another member's conduct, from third-party content, or from any decision you make about your health. Our total liability to you in any twelve-month period is limited to the amount you have paid us in that period, which for a free account is nil.
The app is provided for personal use. We exclude liability for business losses, loss of profit, or loss of opportunity.
11. Ending your account
You can stop using the app at any time and ask us to delete your account by emailing hello@jtuventures.co.uk. We may suspend or close an account that seriously or repeatedly breaks these terms, or where we must do so to protect other members.
When an account is deleted, your journal entries, mood logs, habit history, photos and bookings are deleted. Circle posts may remain in place in anonymised form so that conversations other members rely on are not broken.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the app changes. When we make a material change we will ask you to accept the new version the next time you open the app, and the version number and date at the top of this document will change.
13. Law and complaints
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction. If something goes wrong, please contact us first at hello@jtuventures.co.uk — we would much rather put it right.
